Global Entrepreneurs Program
AIESEC India via the global platform offers students and recent graduates the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreign environment in areas of management, technology, education and development. Through its ’Global Entrepreneurs Program’ AIESEC India is providing young students the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills through international internships.
Our objective is to target our country’s youth, the global entrepreneurs of tomorrow, and help them enrich their education by providing them with a holistic international experience which would help them in their future endeavors. This initiative will challenge their worldview and help them gain a unique combination of multi-cultural, social and entrepreneurial experience during the formative years of their lives.
Going on Exchange or an Internship is one of the most intense learning experiences. It links together our global network present over thousands of partner organizations, as each year we provide over members with the experience of working abroad.
The Global Entrepreneurs Programme offers 4 kinds of Internships :-
- Management Traineeships
- Technical Traineeships
- Development Traineeships
- Educational Traineeships
Management Internships (MT)
(Fields: Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources etc)
Management Internships always require some relevant management academic background and work experience. Marketing is the largest field and is highly competitive, as is the Business Administration field. Finance and Accounting also require strong qualifications. Human Resources and Economics Internships are uncommon. Students searching management Internships should be flexible in duration and posses some relevant work experience. Most management Internships are longer than six months and are entry-level in all fields. Most internships are 12-18 months in duration. Business Co-op students interested in an AIESEC internship should note that 4 month management internships represent a small portion of management internships
Technical Internships
(Fields: Computer Science, Engineering)
This Internship field is currently growing internationally and there is a high demand for qualified students with technical academic and working backgrounds. The most common backgrounds requested by organizations are “database management” and “software development and programming”. Engineering Internships are not as common as those in computer science. Of the engineering Internships available, the backgrounds most in demand are electronic and electrical engineering. Students searching for Internships in this field should be open to Internships longer than 3 months in length. Most internships are 12-18 months in duration.
Development Internships
(Fields: Community development)
This Internship field involves work in community organizations and a variety of job roles from project implementation to research. Nearly all Internships in this field are in developing countries. Most internships are also short-term in duration- nearly 70% are between 2-3 months long. Development Internships usually do not pay full salary but provide a small stipend only or no stipend at all. Students must be ready to finance their living expenses and travel costs.
Education Internships
(Fields: Education)
An Education internship (aka ET: Education Internship) is one whose job description involves either teaching a language or teaching a subject i.e. all aspects of education including curriculum development, character education, cultural interaction and perspective promotion in academic fields and sectors. An intern has to spend the majority of their time working in areas related to Education. An intern has to spend the majority of their time working in areas related to Education. Balance in Life | AIESEC India
www.aiesec.in
When people think of balance I think the average first feeling especially for Indians would be the typical blindfolded lady straight from the movies with a balance beam in her right hand. However if we were scientific and checked in a dictionary, the word balance has various meanings, one of which i…

Sometimes you want to achieve something so much, that you direct all your efforts towards it with such intensity that all other things in life look secondary and unimportant. But obviously they are as important and will not wait for you. What is needed in such a situation, or in life in general perhaps, is a wider perspective or the ability to see the bigger picture. You need to be able to think and prioritize so that in the race called life, you cross all the hurdles without stumbling rather than only the one you have your eyes set on.
