Think Different
- By Niels Caszo, President AIESEC Navi Mumbai
I waited 3 days contemplating on what message I would want to convey to the readers of this article. Something that would inspire, make people believe that there’s hope out there or that the Sun is yet to rise. However what I was trying to put down just didn’t feel right. On the 5th of October before I went to bed I updated my Blackberry Messenger status to – Think Different , not knowing that the next morning I would wake up to the death of a visionary – Steve Jobs Co-founder & Ex-CEO of Apple.
As I spent the entire morning watching CNN’s TV coverage on his life, his views & creations I realized even more the importance of leaving something behind in this world, something people will remember you by, something known as your Legacy.
Now we may not be able to compare ourselves to a man like Steve Jobs or leave behind a legacy like his but what we can do is try & believe me when I say that the only person that can actually stop you from trying to be the best is yourself. By far one of the most successful entrepreneurs Steve Jobs had a dream he wanted to pursue, he had a vision, he had no biological parents & no college degree to support him.
Life is too short to live someone else’s dream so if you have one go out there and do it for in the process you will inspire others.
From creating change agents to influencing mindsets, AIESEC to me has always been more than just the World’s Largest Youth run organization which enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. AIESEC is The Harvest of Opportunities- that platform that helps every young person envision his future. AIESEC has witnessed great things for an organization that has existed for the last 63 years & I know that there’s a lot more to come.
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The rebels. The troublemakers. The ones who see things differently. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ” –Think Different
AIESEC –Changing the world one person at a time.

Balance in Life | AIESEC India
www.aiesec.in
When people think of balance I think the average first feeling especially for Indians would be the typical blindfolded lady straight from the movies with a balance beam in her right hand. However if we were scientific and checked in a dictionary, the word balance has various meanings, one of which i…

Sometimes you want to achieve something so much, that you direct all your efforts towards it with such intensity that all other things in life look secondary and unimportant. But obviously they are as important and will not wait for you. What is needed in such a situation, or in life in general perhaps, is a wider perspective or the ability to see the bigger picture. You need to be able to think and prioritize so that in the race called life, you cross all the hurdles without stumbling rather than only the one you have your eyes set on.
