As an AIESECer on the ‘On The Map’ global volunteer exchange program, my time in Egypt was a deeply personal and transformative experience. Navigating the bustling markets of Cairo, sailing the serene Nile, and standing before the Pyramids were not just adventures but moments of profound personal growth. Engaging with diverse volunteers from Pakistan, Bahrain, Turkey, Tunisia, Malaysia, and beyond, I found new perspectives and shared passions that enriched my journey. This exchange has broadened my understanding of the world and reaffirmed my commitment to global collaboration and cultural immersion. It wasn’t just about exploring Egypt; it was about exploring new facets of myself and forging connections that will last a lifetime.

Stand By Her
Event Venue - Andrahalli Government School A Social impact initiative by AIESEC in Bengaluru dedicated to raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and ensuring access to essential sanitary products for underprivileged women. 2025 was the 3rd Successful Year for hosting Stand By Her, this year AiB successfully distributed 9,000 sanitary pads to over 150 women, empowering them with knowledge and resources to manage their menstrual health with dignity, with Mr. Basava Raj Zille DIGP South BLR & Mr. KM Mamdi Ret SBi General Manager gracing the occasion with their esteemed knowledge and presence. By fostering education, conversation, and community involvement, Stand By Her works toward breaking stigmas, promoting sustainable solutions, and advocating for menstrual hygiene as a fundamental right. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collective action in creating a healthier and more informed society.
